Why not start at home by trial and error?
Epoxy can be a beautiful material, but first attempts are often expensive, chaotic, and full of unnecessary mistakes. Incorrect ratios, bubbles, uncured surfaces, poorly prepared wood, or buying equipment you end up never using.
In this course, you’ll first try working with epoxy in a safe and guided environment. You don’t have to blindly buy resin, pigments, supplies, or tools. You simply show up, work, and leave with your first real experience and result.
First results without the chaos
You’ll go through the process step by step with guidance, not with an internet tutorial.
No blind purchases
All materials and equipment are prepared for you on site.
A professional workshop, not a kitchen table
You work in a space designed specifically for this type of creation.
What will you learn?
Over 2 sessions, you’ll go through the entire basic epoxy workflow:
-
introduction to working with epoxy and basic principles
-
preparing wood before pouring
-
mixing and coloring epoxy
-
working with pigments
-
pouring epoxy into wood
-
common mistakes and how to avoid them
-
post-curing finishing
-
sanding, polishing, and final surface treatment
You won’t leave with just information, but with an understanding of the process that will help you decide whether you want to continue working with epoxy at home.

Your teacher

Andrej Farba
At st.vol, we don’t do textbook-style lectures. We’re a team that started in a small garage and built a community-driven shared workshop with our own hands, rooted in craftsmanship and honest work. Our name – “a table according to your will” – is not just wordplay; it reflects our approach to what we do.
In the epoxy workshop, you won’t be guided by a theorist, but by people who work daily with raw wood, metal, and resin in a real workshop environment. Everything we teach comes directly from hands-on production experience. We’ve gone through hundreds of hours of sanding, pouring, and experimenting, which is why we know exactly what works with epoxy – and what doesn’t.
We share our know-how openly. We want you to switch off, enjoy the process, and experience the feeling of creating something lasting with your own hands.
