Do you dream of creating your own epoxy piece but don’t know where to start? In collaboration with the well-known brand ST.VOL, we’ve prepared an intensive two-day workshop where we’ll guide you through the entire process – from a raw piece of wood to a perfectly polished final product. This course is designed for complete beginners who want to try working with modern materials under expert guidance. 📅 Dates and registration Choose the time that suits you (the course takes place over two consecutive Saturdays): Session 1: May 16 (Sat): 9:00 – 13:00 May 23 (Sat): 9:00 – 13:00 or Session 2: May 16 (Sat): 14:00 – 18:00 May 23 (Sat): 14:00 – 18:00 🛠️ What will you learn in the course? 1st Saturday: Preparation and pouring (4 hours) - Introduction to materials: Basic info about wood properties and specifics of working with epoxy. - Preparing blanks: Processing wood and placing it into silicone molds (approx. 8–13 cm). - Mixing: You’ll learn the correct ratios and mixing techniques using mixers and drills. - Pouring: Casting into molds, where you can experiment with pigments and coloring. 2nd Saturday: Final finishing and details (4 hours) - Demolding: Safely removing pieces from molds. - Processing: Sanding, edge routing, and polishing to a high gloss. - Surface finishing: Final oil treatment with premium oils to preserve the wood and enhance its grain. 📦 What’s included in the course price? - Materials: Wood, epoxy resin, pigments, and high-quality oils. - Equipment: Silicone molds, drills, sanders, routers, and professional dust extraction. - Protective equipment
