Liza Sniehirova

I have 5 years of study at two jewelry-making schools under my belt, but my greatest education has been daily practice and this past year of intensive instructing. I’ve encountered dozens of mistakes and challenges that my students and I have successfully overcome together. Because of this, I know exactly where the metal "gets stuck," why the solder won't flow, and how to guide you through those moments without the frustration I once experienced myself in school.

In my courses, I will teach you that jewelry making is about patience and "slowing down." My first Byzantine chain took 16 hours of work—from wire drawing to polishing. Today, I pass that experience on to you.

During the course, I will guide you through the hands-on practice, teach you how to think about the material, and watch over your every step. You’ll head home not only with a handcrafted piece of jewelry you can be proud of but also with the feeling that you’ve mastered a traditional craft.
